As you may know by now, Valerie Cragg sadly lost her long battle with cancer in April 2019.
Val, along with her husband Ian Cragg, have been huge supporters of Concert at the Kings – volunteering and helping with the event since 2012. We shall miss her hugely.
She didn’t want a funeral but she did want everyone to come together to celebrate her life, and that’s what her family want people to do.
The Celebration of Life will start at 3pm on Saturday 25 May 2019 at St Michael & All Angels Church in Urchfont, Wiltshire. Then afterwards at The Lamb pub (just down the road from the church) with drinks, laughter and all the lovely stories that her friends and family can recall about Val.
Val requested that only bright clothes be worn and that there be only family flowers. Instead she would like all donations to be made to ‘Valerie’s Fund’ for Dorothy House Hospice Care.
